There will always be questions and doubts about decisions made and things you could have done differently, but as we can't change the past, the best we can do is learn from our mistakes. Is it possible to have normal kids in a screwed up world? I would have thought signs of normality in someone today would be a clear indication of insanity. I had a lot of bad times as a kid and my mam regrets a lot, but for me, I rarely remember the bad times. Instead I only have fond memories of my childhood knowing that while some of the things my parents did could have been done better with a bit more thought, they did their best. It wasn't perfect, but you show me someone who's perfect and I'll show you a liar! I agree, but all we can do is our very best.
