Choritzo – These images were taken at a Spanish Restaurant in Makati, Manila, Philippines

The following sunset images were taken from my bedroom balcony in Las Pinas, Metro Manila

This skyline image was taken from a taxi window as we headed into Makati, Manila, Philippines. The photo shows the Makati Skyline with some very dark clouds moving in to the right of the picture.

I like the reflections that standing water gives and I was experimenting with angles and settings when I took the following image.

Standing on my balcony, I noticed the neighbours yard tab was casting a perfectly straight shadow. I snapped a picture and with the help of Ian, we edited it to give it a more dramatic effect.

Before and After

Before and After

I was recently at Freedom Bar in Quezon City, Metro Manila, here in the Philippines. Its a fantastic bar, very similar to the way my favorate bar in the uk, Trillans in Newcatle upon Tyne, UK. That is until trillans redecorated and installed loads of new lights, making the bar well lit. Previously hit had been like drinking in a cave and thats the way I liked it.

While at Freedom bar, a few pics were taken that were put on facebook. I got a copy of them so that I could put them side by side with the pics that were taken within a day or so of me landing in the philippines.

Beauty is everywhere in nature

Beauty is everywhere in nature

As I was making a coffee, I noticed that the fence in the garden looked as though it was on fire. I went outside to take a look and found that it was steam evaporating from the wet fence as the morning sun bathed the garden in sunlight. With the temperature hovering around 3 degrees Celsius, the steam was merely the visible water droplets. Still, it had a certain beauty to it, gently blowing in the wind.
