Handfeeding Tigers at Island Cove
A lot of people have been waiting for this video to be converted and added to my blog. If you haven’t already heard about it, here is the full story:
We went to Island Cove which is a small island resort on the Manila coastline accessible via a road bridge or rickety wooden footbridge.
Island Cove has loads of fun things for kids (and adults who never grew up :p ). There is a water park, bike hire, zoo, paintball and much much more. Naturally I found the location of all the bars on the island within minutes of arriving!
One of the first things we did was visit the zoo while our rooms were being prepared. It was feeding time and we watched the zoo keeper hand feed the tigers through the cage. He asked if anyone wanted to feed the tigers and everyone said no. I was already half way over the barrier at this point! The zoo keeper handed me the chicken and I hand fed two of the tigers.
